Ultimate Dining Experience through 7m-long Bar Counter Aquarium
CHOC+ is an emerging catering group in China, with the aim of bringing different food cultures from all over the world to Jiangsu, China. The group seized the opportunity to install Bird’s Eye Aquarium in the first-ever flagship store of Eslite Bookstore opened in Suzhou, China in 2015, and opened a fine-dining restaurant “Choc+ TEMPO” on the third floor terrace. The group ordered and set up a custom-designed bar counter to create an uniquely innovative and amazing luxury experience.
The restaurant has made good use of the bar counter to separate the floor and the kitchen to match the floor-to-ceiling glass external walls to create a spacious and fresh feeling. The 7-metre-long L-shaped bar counter was separated into three parts for easy delivery, while they were connected with a designated pipe on site. In this way, we have successfully made this stylish aquarium at a reduced cost.
When you step into the restaurant, you will definitely be captivated by the amazing huge L-shaped Bird’s Eye Aquarium. What can be more entertaining than sitting at the bar counter, enjoying delicious food and watching the fish swimming? On top of that, the restaurant is located in the prime position on the terrace with stunning panoramic views of the magnificent lakes and gardens through the large floor-to-ceiling glass windows from the terrace floor. This is the only place where you can enjoy fine dining experience with a perfect blend of the nature and innovatiom.
My girlfriend wanted to get a table by the window to enjoy the views at first, but she changed her mind and took the seats at the impressive bar counter aquarium. We enjoyed our meal and took a lot of photos of fish swimming inside. It was so much fun!
The wine and the atmosphere are nice. When I first saw some blue light shining from the restaurant, I thought it was a glowing bar table, but it was in fact a giant aquarium!
With panoramic lake views, a large aquarium and a bar, it is the best spot in the entire Eslite Bookstore! I have heard from the store manager that the bar counter is custom-made from overseas. It is remarkable. Don’t miss it.
Bird’s Eye Aquarium Opening Up Business Opportunities
When the client first reached out to us for bespoke aquariums, the building was still under construction. What we could do is to design the bar counter merely based on the floor plan of the building. In addition, we overcame the language barrier and communicated effectively with the client to confirm the details of the design. The special connecting pipe is a major feature of the aquarium, which is designed with great consideration of many factors such as delivery and carry-in routes.
No matter you sit at the 7-metre-long huge bar counter or any dining table by the window, you can still enjoy fish watching from different angles. With the blue light dazzling from the restaurant at night, passers-by will definitely stop by and admire the view, which would arouse their interest in dining in. Bird’s Eye Aquarium plays a significant role in attracting customers and making profits.
