Warranty of Grand Create

We assure you that Grand Create works in quality.

All Grand Create aquarium lights come with 1 year free warranty, which covers defects in materials and workmanship during the time. After repair, the warranty period will be extended for another year. Paid repair service is also available after the period. Warranty is lifetime.

INITIAL FAILURE PROTECTION

  • Period: 2 weeks from the date of purchase
  • Goods Return: At Spring's Expense
  • Repair or Exchange Fee: At Spring's Expense
  • Delivery after Repair or Exchange: Freight Prepaid by Spring
  • Please pack the product in its original packaging before returning it to us. There must be our original serial number on the product, our original warranty card showing the same serial number, the shop and the date of purchase. Please put also the the receipt, delivery note or any proof of the date of purchase in your return packing.
  • If the returned goods are found to be normal, ¥2000 (excluding tax) will be charged at our return.
  • If the returned goods are found to be not covered by our initial failure protection, it will be treated as free or paid repair service.

FREE WARRANTY SERVICE

  • Period: 1 year from the date of purchase
  • Goods Return: At Buyer's Expense
  • Repair Fee: Free
  • Delivery after Repair: Freight Prepaid by Spring
  • Please make sure that in your return packing, there must be our original serial number on the product, our original warranty card showing the same serial number, the shop and the date of purchase. Please put also the the receipt, delivery note or any proof of the date of purchase in your return packing.
  • Warranty will be extended for another one year after repair (for one time only).
  • Goods returned at freight collect will be charged ¥1,000 (excluding tax) at our return after repair.
  • If the returned goods are found to be normal, ¥1000 (excluding tax) will be charged at our return.
  • If the returned goods are found to be not covered by our free warranty, it will be treated as paid repair service.

PAID REPAIR SERVICE

  • Period: After Free Warranty Period
  • Goods Return: At Buyer's Expense
  • Repair Fee for lamp without UV: ¥3,500 (excluding tax)
  • Repair Fee for lamp with UV: ¥5,660 (excluding tax)
  • Charge for Delivery and Handling after Repair: ¥1,000 (excluding tax)
  • Repair fee, delivery charge and COD charge will be collected by forwarder upon arrival.
  • Please make sure that in your return packing, there must be our original serial number on the product.
  • Goods returned at freight collect will be charged ¥1,000 (excluding tax) at the delivery after repair.

POINTS TO NOTE

  • Failure or damage due to methods beside normal usage like decomposition, submersion, tide or dropping, free repair service is not available even within the warranty period. In the case of transient fault, the product may considered to be unrepairable regardless of the warranty period. Please pay attention to the risk of saltwater splash.
  • Repair fee, delivery charge and handling charge, if any, will be collected by forwarder upon arrival. COD Charge: ¥300 (excluding tax)
  • The above warranty is effective for purchase within Japan only. For customers who has purchased our goods outside Japan, please contact the corresponding distributors or the shop from which you have purchased our products for the related procedures.
